With plans for a successful season in sight, the Collierville High School men's golf team made an early statement in the season's opener by claiming a 141-169 triumph over Arlington at Audubon Golf Course on Thursday.

Kaiser Godinez was the medalist by leading the Dragons at -3 (32).

Also scoring in the match for the Dragons were Jackson Whaley (34), Chance Elston (36), and William Kramer (39).

The Lady Dragons top 2 scores were Ella Penke (47) and Avery Nyen (50). Penke was the low score for the girls’ match. Arlington’s girls’ team only had one participant and the Lady Tiger shot a 51.

Collierville Golf will look to continue the success next Tuesday, August 16, when they tee-off versus Houston. The match is scheduled for 3:45pm at Lakeland Golf Club.
