Freshman Kendall Harper has bursted on the local scene as a player to watch for years to come. The 2025 grad had a career night to lead Collierville Softball to a thumping 16-6 victory over Houston in an elimination game in the District 15 AAAA tournament on Tuesday (May 10) at the Dragons' Forklift Field. Harper went an impressive 5-for-5 with 4 RBI to lead the offensive attack.

Emma Wolfe was the winning pitcher in the circle. Addie Morgan went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and Mollie Davis had two hits and three RBI. Delta State signee Katelyn Harmon went 3-for-4.

Maryn Macri, Sara Depperman and Tara Wilburn each contributed a pair of hits.

Collierville will next play Arlington. The Dragons will need to beat the Tigers twice for a district championship. Both teams will advance to next week's Region Tournament.
