Grant Ross stole the show Friday night (April 22) in Collierville High School baseball team's 6-1 victory over Memphis University School. Ross doubled in the first inning scoring two runs to give the Dragons all they needed for the win. The Union University signee was also on the mound for the Dragons and surrendered just one run on two hits for the complete game win. He struck out 11 and walked just one batter.

Offensively, the Dragons had 10 hits on the night. Christian Dunn, Cade Leatherwood, and Austin Smith each managed two hits.

Collierville (23-8) will be back in action at Patriot Bank Park on Monday. The Dragons will host Houston High School with a first pitch scheduled for 7pm. Ole Miss signee Grayson Saunier is expected to get the ball for CHS.
