In one of the south's top high school baseball tournaments, the Collierville High School baseball team had a solid performance in all four games against stiff competition from Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. In their opening game on Thursday, Collierville faced off with Tennessee perennial power Clarksville. The Dragons used a lethal offensive attack to take down the Wildcats 7-5. Home runs from Grant Moss, Christian Dunn and Joey Caruso along with multiple hits from Grayson Saunier were the key to the success. Keaton Baird earned the win in relief for Collierville.

The Dragons swept a twin bill on Saturday versus Lexington Catholic (KY) and Noblesville (IN). Ari Bethea picked up his third win of the year and Ryan Neilson earned the save. Braden Sheals was the winning pitcher against Noblesville. Grant Moss had four hits on the day and Tyler Johns homered against Noblesville.

Collierville lost their final game in the Warrior Classic on Saturday in 9 innings to Ohio power, Watkins Memorial, 1-0.

The Diamond Dragons (13-3) will play at Arlington on Monday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30pm.
