Freshman Ari Bethea threw a complete game shutout and improved his record to 2-0 as the Collierville Dragons baseball team defeated Creek Wood 10-0 Friday afternoon. The right-hander allowed one hit and struck out four in five innings of work. Christian Dunn and Trent DeZemplen had two hits each; Marcus Lee had three stolen bases.

In the second game of the day, Radford commit Ryan Neilson had another strong performance on the bump for the Dragons. The senior struck out seven in his five innings of work. Thomas Crabtree went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored; Cade Leatherwood had two hits and two RBIs; Marcus Lee scored three runs; Grant Ross, Christian Dunn and JD Whitworth scored two runs apiece.

Collierville (8-2) will finish their trip in Huntsville on Saturday when they face Russellville (AL), 4pm, in the Spring Take Off Series.
