The Collierville High School basketball teams won both the women's and men's consolation games over Houston on Monday night in the District 15 AAAA tournament hosted by Arlington.

Kristyna Boyd continues to take her game to an elite level as she led the Lady Dragons with 16 points to a 57-33 victory over the Mustangs. Freshman Paige Whitted got hot from behind the arc and contributed 12 points. With the win, Collierville girls (20-8) pick up their 20th win for the third consecutive season - the first time in program history. They will travel to the White Station/Memphis Central loser Friday night in the Regional Tournament Quarterfinals.

The Dragons Men's Basketball Team came from behind in the 4th quarter to defeat Houston 52-49. Phil Dotson led the team with 15 points and Alex Vandenbergh contributed 10 points. It was a total team effort with big plays and clutch free throws down the stretch by numerous Dragons. Collierville boys (19-8) will look to pick up their 20th win of the 2021-22 campaign when they travel to the Memphis East/Whitehaven loser on Saturday in their Regional Tournament Quarterfinals.
