The Collierville High School basketball team has had different players step up at different times that's led to their success at the start of the 2021-22 basketball season. That was the case once again on Wednesday (Dec. 22) as the Dragons claimed the Oseman Insurance Agency Holiday Inviatational consolation championship at Germantown High School. This game it was Madison Taylor that caught fire en route to the 48-46 victory over Tennessee Prep.

Taylor connected on five three-pointers during the contest, four in the second quarter, to lead the Dragons with 17 points. Phil Dotson added nine points.

Collierville (9-2) will be back in action Tuesday-Thursday, Dec. 28-30, in MBA's Holiday Hoops Invitational.
