For the first time, the Collierville Lady Dragons basketball team had an opportunity to play at the FedEx Forum - the home of the Memphis Grizzlies. The Lady Dragons trailed most of the game, but made a late surge that gave them a chance to find victory. Olive Branch escaped with a 60-56 victory. It was the first loss of the season for the Lady Dragons (5-1).

Freshman guard Hilary Shikuku had a professional type performance pacing the Lady Dragons with 13 points to go along with 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals. Junior guard Sariah Conley contributed 12 points and freshman Paige Whitted added 10 points. In addition, Kryistyna Boyd and Emmanuella Amaefula each had 10 rebounds to lead the team. Collierville out-rebounded Olive Branch 55-50.

Ultimately, Olive Branch connecting on 22 of 33 free throws plagued the Lady Dragons on Wednesday afternoon. Collierville was 9 of 24 from the line.
