The Collierville men’s basketball team got a big win Thursday (Dec. 2). The Dragons won 71-37 against the Kirby Cougars. In the first quarter, the men played physical and forced a timeout early. They would fall behind, but Alec Tipton scored 5-straight to get them back on track. The team finished quarter one on a 10-1 run. The second quarter was a continuation of the end of the first, with the Dragons outscoring Kirby 12-5. They stayed on fire entering the third quarter with Mason Lewellen hitting a quick three. The Dragons finished the third quarter outscoring Kirby 28-10. They cruised in the fourth quarter for the 71-37 victory.
