Collierville High School boys’ basketball team made their first state tournament appearance since 1973 during the 2020-21 basketball season. The Dragons advanced to the semi-finals after a first round win over Cleveland, but were denied an opportuninty to play for a state championship by falling to Cane Ridge. To begin the 2021-22 season, the Dragons are 3-0.

On Saturday, November 27th, at 5pm inside Collierville High School’s My Town Movers Fieldhouse – the Dragons will host Chicago Simeon. The south side high school in Chicago is the alma mater to former University of Memphis star Derrick Rose (Knicks), Duke's Jabari Parker (Celtics), Oakland’s Kendrick Nunn (Lakers), and Iowa State's Talen Horton-Tucker (Lakers).
