The Collierville High School men's and women's basketball teams completed play in the first week of the TSSAA Hall of Champions games by defeating the Fayette Academy Vikings 68-25 and 54-15 respectively. Alec Tipton led the Dragons with 15 points and Phil Dotson added 10. The defensive effort was one of the best performances for a Dragons squad in recent years.

The same can be said for the Lady Dragons defensive effort and surrendering just 15 points. It is definitely going to be a strength that will play a key part in the success and run for Collierville Women's Basketball in 2021-22.

Both teams are back in action Tuesday with a record of 2-0. The Lady Dragons host Center Hill at 5pm and the Collierville men's team will host Westwood at 6:30pm in hopes to continue the season's early winning streak.
