The 2021 football season remains perfect entering next week's state football playoffs for the Collierville Dragons. The final task was completed in the regular season finale at Arlington Friday (Oct. 29) with a Dragons 45-14 victory over the Tigers. Collierville improved to 10-0 to secure the school's first undefeated regular season since 1981.

Houston Wilhelm continues to get better every game and had one of his best performances by completing 13 passes in 23 attempts for 258 yards. He connected with Eli Sisson (12 yards) and John Hampton (74 yards) for touchdown receptions. Troy Martin led the ground game with 12 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown. Tyler Collier, once again, had a rushing touchdown.

Collierville will be the Region 8 #1 seed and will host Independence next Friday (Nov. 5) at Dragon Stadium.
