A big 2nd quarter and another dominant performance with a balanced offensive attack led the Collierville women's basketball team to a 67-32 win over Houston Friday night (Feb. 5) inside the MTM Fieldhouse.

Mallory Taylor continued her strong play with 15 points and Kristyna Boyd contributed 13 points. Miranda Pham had four three-pointers.

The Lady Dragons outscored the Mustangs 24-6 in the 2nd quarter that was fueled with athleticism. Collierville improved to 14-5 and Houston fell to 2-13.

In the men's game, the Dragons trailed Houston 45-39 at the end of the third quarter. A strong performance in the 4th quarter by a talented Houston squad gave the Mustangs a 72-54 victory.

Davon Barnes had 19 points to lead the Dragons. Jordan Jenkins had 16 points. Jonathon Lawson had 20 points to lead Houston. The Mustangs men improved to 15-3 and Collierville fell to 16-8.
