A winning culture is starting to form for the Collierville Dragons basketball teams.

The Lady Dragons are off to their best start in 20 years after an impressive 44-39 victory over Northpoint Christian. Nakiyah Westbrook paced the team with 11 points , 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. Mallory Taylor contributed 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Jordan Harris recorded 7 rebounds. The team improved to 5-0 and will be tested again, Thursday, at Center Hill. Game time is 6pm.

In the finale, the Collierville men's basketball team recovered from an early struggle and cruised to a 66-50 win over the Trojans. Jordan Jenkins caught fire at the end of the 1st half and Davon Barnes was a force in the paint. The team improved to 3-0 on the year. The men's team will follow the Lady Dragons Thursday night at Center Hill. A 7:30pm tip-off is expected.
