BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team notched a program-record 300 stroke average in 2019-20. It added a player capable of lowering that number in 2021-22.

Anna Clair Bridge, a Collierville High School (Tennessee) product, signed with the Owls on Wednesday and will join the squad in the fall of 2021.

"We are excited to have Anna Claire join the Owl family today!" FAU coach Aimee Neff said. "Her character and competitiveness on and off the course make her a perfect match for our program. Her won't-stop attitude and desire to constantly improve make us eager to have her on campus next fall."

Originally from North Carolina, Bridge moved to Tennessee her senior year. Her father, Jim Bridge, served as Duke's offensive line coach before joining Memphis' staff this season.

Bridge ranked among the top-30 junior golfers in North Carolina in 2019 and made the All-State team. She was also one of the top-50 junior golfers across both Carolinas that year. This season, Bridge has already earned multiple medalist honors, including one at the 2020 Greater Memphis FCA Tournament.
