Collierville senior Anna Claire Bridge posted the best score of any local competitor, finishing at 1-over 73 at WillowBrook. That leaves her five strokes behind Isabella Van der Biest of Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett heading into Wednesday’s second and final round.
Houston’s Sophie Christopher ended the day at 5-over while Cecily Berry of Collierville stands at 6-over, one shot ahead of Houston’s Kimberly Tsai.
On the boys side, Collierville’s Tyler Boshaw finished at 76 and is tied for 21st place. Robert Daniel and Kaiser Godinzez are both +14 and tied for 57th.
