Tied late in the game with host Bartlett, the Collierville women's soccer team scored a second half goal to post a 2-1 district-opening win Tuesday evening. Abby Johnson scored the game-winner off a Sydney Davis corner kick. The Dragons (5-1), have been getting balanced scoring all season, and the game against the Panthers was no different. The team will play their final regular season game on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. when they host Houston High School.

In the first half, senior Peyton Wilkinson, gave Collierville an early 1-0 lead as she found the net - also from a Davis assist.

Bartlett had tied the game just before the half, but the Dragons regrouped and managed to control the tempo the remainder of the game. Senior goalie Maggie Ward, a two-sport athlete, once again came up big with a tremendous second half save.
