The Collierville High School Cross Country teams continued to make strides toward the 2026 postseason with strong performances at the Frank Horton Classic.
The Collierville Girls, the 2025 State Runner-Up, turned in another impressive team performance, finishing second overall behind Independence.
Sophomore Maya Lang led the way for Collierville, crossing the finish line in 18:25, followed closely by Gabrielle “Gab” Gulstrom, who posted an 18:47. Marina Kavouras added a 19:02 finish, while Amaya Edwards crossed in 19:58.
The remainder of the Dragons’ top finishes included Augusta Bogda (20:01), Emily Lotz (20:07), Audrey Maier (20:13), Noor Ceulemans (20:33), and Emery McGill (21:19).
The Collierville boys also continued to compete against a strong field, finishing 15th overall. Gabe Bullock led the Dragons with a time of 16:24, followed by Georgios at 16:32 and Pierre Kavouras at 16:44.
Rounding out the Collierville runners were Briar Bostick (17:05), Brennan Cline (17:08), Riley Corrigan (17:42), and Ethan Stubblefield (18:16).
With the postseason quickly approaching, both Collierville teams will look to build on their performances at the Frank Horton Classic.
The Dragons eturn to action October 17 at the Randolph Invitational at the John Hunt Running Club in Huntsville, Alabama.
