The Collierville High School cross country teams traveled to Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday, September 26, for the 2026 Twilight at PR'ville at John Hunt Running Park, with the Dragon girls earning a runner-up finish and the boys placing 11th overall in the championship races.

The Collierville girls finished second overall, highlighted by a strong performance from sophomore Maya Lang, who placed seventh individually with a time of 18:02.31 in the Championship Girls 5000 Meter Run.

Junior Gabrielle Gulstrom followed with a 15th-place finish in 18:25.13, while senior Marina Kavouras crossed the line 31st in 18:50.32. Sophomore Amaya Edwards finished 71st in 19:42.19, and senior Emily Lotz rounded out the Dragons' scoring five with a 77th-place finish in 19:50.70.

Collierville also received strong efforts from junior Augusta Bogda (19:56.48), sophomore Audrey Maier (19:57.14), sophomore Noor Ceulemans (20:00.89), sophomore Emery McGill (20:05.14), and freshman Chandler Butler (20:07.32).

The Collierville boys finished 11th overall, led by senior Georgios Kavouras, who placed 39th individually with a time of 15:55.73.

Senior Pierre Kavouras finished 66th in 16:16.13, followed closely by junior Gabe Bullock, who placed 71st in 16:18.36. Junior Briar Bostick finished 106th in 16:41.88, while senior Brennan Cline completed the Dragons' scoring five with a 145th-place finish in 17:02.40.

Senior Ethan Stubblefield (17:27.98), freshman Riley Corrigan (17:32.53), freshman Caleb Powers (18:31.33), junior Kapono Curtis (18:40.99), and freshman Cameron Vance (19:38.04) also competed for Collierville.

With another strong meet in the books, both Dragon squads will return to action on Saturday, October 3, when Collierville competes in the Frank Horton Classic at Shelby Farms in Memphis.
