CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Collierville High School men's tennis team delivered a strong showing on the state’s biggest stage, finishing as runner-up in the 2026 TSSAA Class AA Team State Championship following a hard-fought match against Brentwood High School.
Collierville showed particularly strong play in early in doubles competition. The No. 1 doubles team of David Martinez and Shreyansh Alluri secured an impressive 9-7 victory in a closely contested match, while the No. 3 team of Colby Dace and Maximus Jerden earned a convincing 8-3 win to give the Dragons momentum early in the match.

At the No. 1 position, David Martinez competed against Brentwood’s Greyson Meeker, while teammates Arjun Garudadhri, Venkat Lingam, Shreyansh Alluri, Colby Dace, and Colt Pritchett each represented the Dragons across the remaining courts.
The Dragons remained competitive in several matches, including tight contests at No. 2 and No. 5 singles that were still in progress when the overall team result was decided. These unfinished matches reflected the intensity and balance of the championship matchup.
