The Collierville High School Women's basketball team delivered an impressive performance against Columbus High School, showcasing their talent in the Battle of the Borders at Olive Branch (MS) High School. Led by Fran Kelly, who had game high 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, the Lady Dragons controlled the pace from start to finish.
Jekhyra Rodgers added 12 points, while contributing heavily on defense with 8 rebounds and 6 steals, proving to be a two-way force. Jayliah Kelly was lights out from beyond the arc, hitting 4-of-5 three-pointers en route to 12 points.
Danae Kennedy contributed 7 points and 3 rebounds. Chattanooga State commit Lilly Ann Jennings added 4 points and 4 rebounds.
Collierville (4-0) will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Charles Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia to participate in the prestigious Hoops For Hunger.
