COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — The excitement is building as Collierville prepares to host its first-ever Big Saturday Kickoff on August 23rd, a full-day celebration leading up to the highly anticipated football showdown between the Collierville Dragons and East Nashville.

Originating from the Landers SportsPlex, this inaugural event promises to be a game-changer for local sports fans, bringing a College GameDay-style experience to the heart of Collierville. The festivities will culminate at Dragon Stadium, where the Dragons will take the field at 6:00 p.m., with the game live-streamed on GoDragonsGo.com.

“This is more than just a football game,” said Jeff Curtis, District Athletic Director. “It’s a celebration of our town, our team, and the incredible spirit of our community.”

Event Highlights
Location: Dragon Walk in front of MyTownMovers Fieldhouse
Time: All day, leading up to kickoff at 6:00 p.m.

Morning:
Tailgating begins as fans arrive and set up.
Event setup continues throughout the morning.

12:30 PM – 3:00 PM:
Live Music: The Jake Maurer Band takes the stage, bringing high-energy entertainment to fans of all ages.

3:00 PM:
Dragon Walk: Watch the team make their grand entrance, cheered on by the band and fans. Fireworks and fanfare lead into the live stream show.

3:00 PM – 4:30 PM:
Live Stream Show: Pre-game coverage, interviews, and special features broadcasted from the studio stage.

6:00 PM:
Kickoff: Collierville Dragons vs. East Nashville

Family Fun & Attractions
Kids Zone: Bounce houses and a Home Depot workshop in front of the turf room.
Food Trucks & Vendors: A variety of approved local favorites on either side of the music stage.
