Congratulations to the Collierville High School Dragons trap team for an outstanding performance at the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) State Championships held last week in Nashville, TN.
The varsity squad delivered a strong showing, placing 4th in single trap out of 69 competing teams—an impressive feat in a highly competitive field.
A special shoutout goes to Patrick Michiels, who captured the Men’s Varsity State Championship title after shooting a perfect 100 and winning a thrilling shoot-off against two other competitors who also posted perfect scores. Tucker Smith also had a standout performance, placing 2nd in Men’s Varsity with his first-ever perfect 100.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to seniors Patrick Michiels and Tyler Carrier for their leadership, dedication, and mentorship throughout the season. Their contributions were instrumental in helping CHS Trap secure the school’s first-ever state championship in 2024 and a Final Four finish this season.
