Franklin, TN – The Collierville High School wrestling team has proven to be a force to be reckoned with, sending an impressive eight individuals to the 2025 TSSAA State Wrestling Championships this weekend in Franklin, Tennessee.
The state championships, taking place today and tomorrow, will see some of the best wrestlers from across the state compete for the coveted title. These eight athletes, who qualified through the AA Section 4 tournament, are now poised to make their mark on the state's biggest stage.
Here are the Dragon standout athletes on the mat:
Charles Baldwin (138) – Grade: 12 | Record: 35-15 – Baldwin will be competing with determination after securing 3rd place in the AA Section 4 tournament.
Devin Corbin (AA 126) – Grade: 10 | Record: 47-3 – Corbin heads to the state championships as the top seed, having won 1st place at the AA Section 4 tournament.
Drew Corbin (AA 132) – Grade: 10 | Record: 44-7 – Another standout from the Corbin family, Drew qualified with a 1st place finish at the AA Section 4 tournament.
Sricharan Kosanam (AA 106) – Grade: 11 | Record: 42-9 – Kosanam’s impressive 2nd place finish in the AA Section 4 tournament secured his spot at the state level.
Weston Neutz (AA 150) – Grade: 10 | Record: 31-10 – Neutz fought his way to 4th place at the sectional tournament and will look to keep up the momentum in Franklin.
Larson Pilant (AA 120) – Grade: 12 | Record: 43-10 – Pilant's 2nd place finish at the AA Section 4 tournament gives him a strong position to challenge for the state championship.
Mitchell Spillers (AA 165) – Grade: 11 | Record: 26-18 – Spillers earned his spot with a 4th place finish and will look to rise to the occasion in the state tournament.
Michael Thompson (AA 175) – Grade: 12 | Record: 44-14 – Thompson heads into the state championships after dominating his weight class at the regional tournament, finishing 1st overall.
