Matt Doll

Coach Doll  is entering his 6th year as head coach of the Collierville boys and girls cross-country teams.

At CHS, he has led the teams to one Region 8 Championship and two runner-up Regions performance. In 2017, the boys team achieved a program best Top 5 finish at the state championship meet.

Coach Doll started his coaching career at Cordova High School in 2009, winning three Region 7 championships in cross country and a school best Top 7 finish at State. As Head Boys Track and Field Coach, Doll led the Wolfpack to a Section 4 Track championship and a runner-up finish at the State Track championships in 2011. In 2011, he was named Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps Track and Field Coach of the Year.

During the 2012 cross-country season, Doll worked as as assistant cross-country coach at Christian Brothers University with his former high school Coach Bill Hoffman.

From 2012-14, Doll continued coaching boys track and cross-country at his alma mater, Germantown High, taking the XC team to State in his first year. After a family move to Illinois in 2015, Coach Doll worked with the Boys Track and Field team at Rickover Naval Academy on the North side of Chicago before returning to the Mid-South.

An All-State runner in high school, Coach Doll competed in Division I collegiate cross-country and track at the University of Pennsylvania for Olympic development Coach Charlie Powell before finishing his career racing for Vanderbilt University.
