The red-hot Collierville women's soccer team netted a trio of goals in a shutout victory over Kingsport Dobyns-Bennett as the team positioned themselves in the final four and an opportunity to compete for the 2023 state title.
FIRST HALF
Collierville got their first score in the first half when Kaitlyn Lewis crossed the ball to Presley Williams inside the box. Williams then delivered a strike that shot off the crossbar and dropped just inside the goal.
SECOND HALF
Hilary Shikuku added an insurance goal in the 44th minute with a quick counterattack off an Alayna Tuznik assist.
Freshman Cruiz Christie netted in the final goal in the 61st minute on a penalty kick.
NEXT
Collierville (15-2-2) will face another strong opponent on Thursday against the Ravenwood Raptors. That winner will face the Bearden/Franklin winner in the state championship.
