The Collierville High School Volleyball team and Villanova commit, Campbell McKinnon, are one of the three finalists for the Commercial Appeal's Girls Athlete of the Year and Girls Team of the Year respectively. McKinnon, a middle hitter, had a break out season and helped Dragons Volleyball to the 2022 State Championship match. Thought to be a rebuilding year, instead went down as one of the best seasons in the history of Collierville Volleyball. The Dragons finished the season with a 37-10 mark after coming up short against Cleveland in the title match. McKinnon returns for the 2023-24 season with expectations to help take the team, led by Head Coach Lindsey Vicknair, back to Murfreesboro in October.
