The Collierville women's soccer team rolled past Arlington, 3-1, in a District 15-AAA Tournament elimination match. With the win, the Dragons improve to 8-4-1 on the season and will advance to the regional semifinals.
At halftime the score was tied 0-0, but the Dragons took an early second half lead on back-to-back goals by Amelya Jacobs. Arlington responded with a goal of their own midway through the second half.
It was then again Jacobs, a recent Lee University commit, that found the back of the net for the third time to complete the hat trick as Collierville went on to win, 3-1.
Arlington finishes the year 6-4-4.
