The Collierville High School volleyball team has assembled one of their best season's with constant determination and discipline all year. Playing a fierce schedule prepared the Lady Dragons for a post-season run that saw the team not lose a set until the state championships. They began the tournament with a victory on Tuesday over a strong Maryville team, 3-2, and fell short, 3-1, to an impressive Cleveland team on Wednesday - three of the four sets going into "overtime."

Thursday's plan will be to continue to compete and advance, one game at a time, for the Lady Dragons with the goal to reach the State Tournament Finals on Friday for the first time since 2004. Collierville (38-8) faces a familiar opponent to begin the day at 9:30am when they take on Houston. All matches are set for Blackman High School.
