The Collierville High School Volleyball team took an eight-game winning streak into Saturday's championship match versus Lafayette (Wildwood, MO), but fell to the Lancers 25-16, 25-23 in the annual Volley In The Ville Tournament. The Dragons defeated Lafayette in their opening match of pool play on Friday and also took wins over Dyer County and Buckhorn (AL) to enter bracket play. They defeated St. Agnes 25-16, 25-22 on Saturday to advance to the tournament's championship.

Collierville (13-2) will host Brighton on Tuesday.
