Volleyball Goes Undefeated In Pool Play at Hoover, Falls To Host In Gold Bracket Elimination

The Collierville High School volleyball team had an impressive showing at the 39th annual Juanita Boddie Tournament, hosted by The Hoover Bucs, over the weekend.

The Dragons went 2-0 on Friday with victories over Woodlawn (AL) 25-2, 25-3 and St. John Paul II Catholic (AL) 25-9, 25-12. On Saturday, Collierville continued their winning streak by defeating Oak Mountain (AL) 25-9, 25-22 and Sparkman (AL) 25-17, 25-18 to go undefeated in pool play.

Collierville advanced to the gold bracket elimination round and fell to the host, Hoover, in three sets 25-16, 23-25, and 14-16.

The Lady Dragons are now 5-1 to begin the 2021 season.
