Each year, the Collierville High School volleyball team competes in the Williamson County Tournament in hopes to face strong competition to prepare the team for October's post-season play. This was certainly the case this year. The Lady Dragons faced stiff competition in pool play, defeating Summit, but falling to Station Camp, Nolensville, and Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). It was strong bracket play that positioned the Lady Dragons in the final four of the 32-team event. On Saturday, Collierville defeated Lebanon and Station Camp before falling to Hazel-Green (AL) in the semi-finals of the gold bracket.
Collierville is 21-7 on the year and will travel to Desoto Central (MS) Tuesday.
